Committees

It takes a village. The following committees are open to parents, family, and friends of the Kennedale Wildcat Theatre Program. Sign Up and help bring our program come to life!

Costume Crew - The Costume Crew Committee is responsible for assisting the theater program in outfitting each student for their respective performance.

Fundraising/Membership - The fundraising and membership committees assist with the identifying, developing and implementing fundraising opportunities. Our membership committee will facilitate membership drives and maintain our active roster of members.

Front Lobby/Concesssions - Our Front Lobby and Concessions volunteers create and round our show productions. From ticketing, to buying the fresh smell of popcorn, our Front Lobby Crew are our guests first impression of our theatre program.

Scholarship - The scholarship committee reviews all scholarship applications and proposes respective award recipients for all alumni and senior scholarships.

Social Media - The Social Media Committee focuses on communicating, promoting and marketing booster club events, performances and related theater activities to the general public as well as to booster club members and Kennedale theater students.

Summer Theater Camp - Sponsored once a year, the Summer Theater Camp assists Kennedale Theater faculty in the coordination and facilitation of the summer camp. Activities include camp registration, activity development and overall support throughout the duration of the camp.

Stage and Prop Construction - Weather its a one act play or a musical, our Stage and Prop Crew is vital to the success of any performance. The Stage and Prop Committee will assist with set construction, preparing the stage with items necessary for a once in a lifetime performance!

Sunshine Committee - The Sunshine Committee provides Tech Week Meals, plan the annual theater banquet as well as facilitate theater related enrichment activities. Additionally, this committee provides any hospitality activities that may come up throughout the program year.

Tech Crew - The Tech Crew will assist students with the operation of sound, lighting an projection equipment for all scheduled performances.
